BYU Player Profile – Mike Hague

  Mike Hague   #32

  Position: Defensive Back

  Class: Senior

  Height: 5’10”  Weight: 190

  Hometown: Salt Lake City, UT

Last season, Bronco Mendenhall asked this former Utah 5A MVP running back to switch over to the defensive back field to alleviate some pressure in the running back unit due to overcrowding.  Hague fought for the starting position, but ultimately worked as the back up and primarily saw time on the special teams units.  His most notable play of the season was the block that sprung the hole for Cody Hoffman to run through on his way to a 93-yard kickoff return vs. UCF.  Hague is expected to have a bigger role on the team this season at the free safety position.
